The Obsession:
I remember sitting in my great grandmother's living room looking through all the old, water-stained family photos, imagining what life was like in those times. My grandma would tell us about the church revival that was going when the photo was taken, or hearing of Christmas traditions started long ago. To see the joy on her face as she spoke of past loved ones made me want that same feeling.
I wanted to create not only photographs my family could look at, but the stories behind each one.

The Progress:
In 2013, a fellow photographer reached out to me to join a field day for other photographers in our area with models. It was a day to get to know each other, learn, and make some art. Little did I know, I would meet two of my best friends that day, that would change my life forever. This was the year I started photographing "people" and moments. And to this day I am documenting the lives of others.
