Got a question? Check below or contact me!
Will I get all photos that you take?
No. Trust me, you do not wish to see all the photos that I take. During a session it is not uncommon for me to take hundreds or thousands of photos. I spend numerous hours after the session culling through to find the best of the best from your session. These selections capture my style as well as your memories the way they felt in the moment. This may include crying babies, angry children, or other things that might arise during your session, but I document life as it is. And life is not perfect.
Why does the photo cut off parts when I upload to print?
Images you see online are un-cropped, please remember when purchasing that when you choose another size( 5x7, 8x10) you are selecting to cut off part of the photo to fit this ratio.
I love this photographers look, can you make your photos look the same?
I am an artist: My photographs and edits are my own. They will change and flow as I grow as a photographer. I will not recreate others work. Please look over my style before booking. I would love to recommend other local photographers that might fit your wants better. However, I am willing to try posing that you love!
What props do you offer?
My style of photography is lifestyle, meaning I capture real moments with you and your loved ones. I do not provide props, as these tend to distract from the interactions between each other. Now this is not to say that if your little one has a favorite toy they must bring, we will incorporate this into interactions, because that is real life.
Do I get the copyrights?
I will hold the Copyright to all photos. If you purchase digital images, you are given permission to print your photos for personal use.
Can I order products from you?
I currently do not offer products directly to clients but with my sessions you are given digital files to download and create products at your favorite printing lab.
I DO NOT recommend printing at local chain stores like Walgreens or Walmart. Their printers are not calibrated correctly to give my photos the look that I worked hard to produce. My favorite labs for printing online are professional labs that allow anyone to print and do not require a print release submitted.
I lost my photos, can you send me the photos again?
Your photos will remain on the online gallery for 6 months. I am under no obligation to save images from your shoot. After 6 months, your photos will be recycled. All unedited photos will be recycled after gallery delivery. I recommend having an external hard drive or flash drive dedicated for photos. Once you receive you gallery, download the files onto your computer and transfer directly to your external drive to ensure your photos are safe from computer corruption. I store my drives in a fireproof safe in my home.
Why do your photos look different from each session?
Most sessions are outdoor with natural light, that is ever changing. Please remember that I can not control the light and will make judgement calls on photographs based on lighting. When photographing indoors, or in low lighting, I use my skills of Flash to produce the most pleasing images. These photos will change depending on the circumstances.
What is a Creative Fee?
A creative fee is an amount that is paid to cover the cost of planning, location scouting, and preparation for your session. Creative Fee due at time of booking and is non-refundable
Can I get a refund?
There are No Refunds on creative fees or Digital Galleries. If the session has taken place, the money that was paid is non-refundable.
